I'm nearly to the point of starting to get the skins back on and prepare for paint. I want to get all of my supplies ordered now so it's not holding me up when it's time. I've got a Shasta Airflyte... any guesstimates on how much (and what preferred size) of butyl/putty tape I'll need and what size and how many screws? For putty, I'm thinking it's a LOT for all the skins, eyebrows, windows, protrusions, lights, fan, etc. Also, Gutter Seal? How much and is there a preferred brand? The two I've heard of most are OSI and Geocel?

6 to 7 rolls 30 foot butyl if I remember
Just the C channel has over 100 screws and each window 15 or so but I use 1/2 and 3/4 inch screws but I think you go through about 250 to 300 or so whenow all is said and done leaving some room for stripping some out.
But some of the other guys on the forum do this every day so they have better advice.

I buy 3/4" #6 stainless steel screws as I go (Lowes) so I'm not sure of a total.
I like 1" wide putty tape. I'm not a big fan of butyl tape. It sticks better but is harder to work with especially in the heat. I agree with Tom, 6 or 7 rolls of tape should do it. I seal the staples with a tiny amount of gutter seal before the putty tape goes on.
I'd use zinc for any screws you're painting.

Stupid question, but is all butyl/putty tape 1/8" thick or does it come thicker? Or do you just keep layering the 1/8" where need be to get the thickness you need? (valleys, channels, etc.)

1/8" is all I've ever used. The only place I add a little putty is the s-lock. I double it at the vent and on some rear windows.

You can get 1" x 3/16. It works well for awning rail...
