Does anyone know the size/name of the plug I would need for the original fiberglass waste tank on our camper? I should have measured it the last time I visited it at the storage facility but it slipped my mind.
This is for the large threaded opening on the bottom of the tank. Thanks for any assistance in advance! I'd like to plug it so I can check for/repair any leaks while I test out the plumbing. I've confirmed that everything drains to it, at least!

You might be missing the rest of the plumbing to dump the tank. It's hard to tell without a picture but most tanks have piping to a valve. At the valve, there is a connection piece for a sewer hose which leads to a campground sewer dump.
ABS fittings will fit old tanks, tho I don't think you need one?

I figured out what it is! Just a 3" threaded PVC plug, it might be called the sewer cap? Just sharing for anyone else who might have this issue I was also able to pickup a 3" bayonet adapter from Camping World, and a 3" threaded to smooth PVC adapter to attach it to the waste outlet coming from the tank. Now all I need is one of those valves so I can control the flow out of the waste tank, and I'll be able to hook up to modern RV sewer hoses! I'll post a pic once I get everything installed
