Hello, I have not yet had a chance to see this camper, but I hope to see it tomorrow. Does anyone recognize the make and/or model? I saw something similar on Craigslist that was a Frolic, but I'm not sure. Thanks! www.flickr.com/gp/189569186@N04/e7Qo48

Hi and welcome,
It looks like a Frolic, but the square door window and the stripes tell me it might not be. The ducktail looks to be a little more shallow than you might see on a late 60's Frolic. It's really hard to tell as so many trailers had subtle differences but overall basic design. Once you see the forehead above the front window at the viewing, you should see the brand. Please report back to what it was.
Cheers,
Rod

Before he stopped talking to me, he stated that this was an “Explorer” which I have been unable to find any more info on these campers. So, it looks like this will not be an option for me but in the unlikely event that I get to go and see it, I will post some more pictures.

Well, that's a bummer, but I believe things happen for a reason. You sound interested in vintage trailers, and that will spur you to search out another one. Sometimes it takes a few missteps to find the right one. Sounds like he was an uncooperative seller. If you did buy it and it had some registration/title issues, you would have needed his cooperation. A lack of cooperation on his part would have left you with a headache.
Put on your safari hat and keep searching.

Yep, I will keep on looking. Something will pop up when it’s the right time.
