Hello!
I have a 1968 Aloha Camper Trailer that is missing the water tank. I dont think I want to put a new one in for weight purposes. I am wondering how that would work!
There is an old water pump next to where the tank is. Should I cap that off if I only want to use water hook-ups and never a tank? The pump, I believe, does not work.
I have replaced all the fitting under the sink and it drains properly. My next step is hooking up the hose. But, before I flood the new floors I put down, I want to make sure that water pump doesn't need capper or removed.
Thanks in advance!! K

I would remove the old pump and any water lines that won't be used or might be contaminated. You will definitely need a plug or cap on the old pump line if you leave it. My thought is that new lines would be cleaner and safer.
