Since I'm having trouble getting a Fantastic Fan from Vintage Trailer Supply, I've been looking at the Max Air versions. I notice they have a 10 speed model (compared to Fantastic's 3 speed). Anyone have experience or recommendations?

I looked at both models also and still went with max air deluxe. The design, functions, rain guard system and fairly quiet fan sold me and no fancy name with big price,

MaxAir all the way. With no ac you want to run this fan or open the top when ever, rain, sun or just hot.
I crack open the maxair hood all the time at home and it helps keep the camper cool and ventilated and I don't need to close it when it rains.
Expensive but worth it to me and my wife loves it. My second camper has one and the one I am doing now will have one as well.

I got it specifically because you can leave it open when it rains. I never have to worry about forgetting it open. I know there are others that will automatically close when they sense rain, but I don't always have power connected.
We've been happy with our, and use it even with the vent closed to help circulate air when running the a/c.
