Based on this description do you think this is worth the price? I ran across a 1961 Airstream Land Yacht Tradewind 22ft for $6500. Pretty good shape will need some decent TLC but not a total rebuild, plumbing and electric needs hooked up, buffing out the chrome, and I would imaging a lot of minor cosmetic work. Good title.

The longer they are, the less desirable. If the floor is sound, I think I'd consider it. One of my worst decisions was walking away from a 20 foot airstream that a neighbor offered for $800 but I didn't have a place to put it

Electrical and plumbing can be EXPENSIVE, especially in an Airstream. How is the frame? Rust? What TLC does it need? The length is popular but 61 is old-pay an Airstream expert to evaluate it. Also, photos here will help.
