Take the wheel with you Adam. Once they see it, they will either shake their heads or possibly point to you to someone (a used tire shop?) that might have something. Also, carefully measure the distance between the lug holes. You might be able to mickey mouse a wheel enough to use as a spare. Look for a large enough middle hole to clear the hub. Even two lugs would work for a spare with slow going.
You might be able to rent a tow cradle as well. Check with tow companies.
We're talking 45 miles as a final trip. I think the tires will last that long if aired up (but not too much). The doctored spare wheel or tow cradle would be insurance.
I think you should be able to find a wheel. Montreal is a large area, which is good.

Maybe I missed something, but I didn't see reference to buying new tires. Trailer tires have a relatively short lifespan even if the tread is good. If you are towing this, you should really consider getting new tires. An exploding tire can do a lot of damage to a camper.

I would normally agree with Dan. However, this trailer is going only 45 miles as a last trip, never to be moved again. New tires seem to be overkill.
Last thought: this trailer has tandem axles, so 2 tires on each side. Even with one flat, the 2nd wheel should support the trailer. Two flat, you've still got one on each side. It's going to be an interesting trip...

I purchased one of the Dexstar type wheels for a Holiday Rambler I had a few years ago. I scrounged around a couple old auto junk yards in my area to find one. Gave about $20.00 for the wheel, compared to the $75.00 or better that was being asked on E-bay. Check your area, junk yards that have old inventory are getting harder and harder to find but they're out there.

Drove 45 minutes to the camper today after work to install the brake lights. Realized when I got there that I forgot them. Luckily I at least had the 4 new marker lights. They are working now (4 corners), which means the center ones will work once I clean or change out the rusted parts. Also forgot the socket and bar set so I could not remove the tire to bring back with me. Don't you love those well planned trips? I had every other tool I could ever have wanted except that one bag I needed. When I got home it was nicely placed next to the front door, to make sure I would not forget it, but I left from the garage so I never saw it.
Temps were something like 104 F today. Even this evening, my shirt is soaked after only 1 hour of working outside. Still feels nice after being cooped up inside the house for 3 months.

Hi Friends,
Just another idea to consider. We have been discussing obtaining spares. Instead, why not buy 2 new tires and replace the most aged tires of the four? Put one on one side and one on the other side.
Vikx mentioned you could possibly travel with one good tire on both sides.
I realize new tires are expensive, but how much does anyone want to pay for insurance? At the very least consider buying 2 new tires. However, I don't know if current tire mounting machines are compatible with the widened four lug pattern.
Just tossing the idea out there for discussion. Comments are welcome on the idea.
Be well.
Rod

For a single 45 mile trip going slowly, I don't think it's worth buying new tires. If all 4 hold air, they should be fine. If they are disintegrating, two used tires will be good enough. Once you park your trailer, put in on jacks and you'll be good to go...

Well, you can chalk this one up as another casualty of COVID-19. Campground where the trailer was parked got annoyed waiting for me to move the camper and gave me 24 hours to get it off the lot or they were calling the scrap yard to come get it. Border opening has been once again postponed to September 21st, with a pretty good chance of it staying closed until next spring. With nowhere to store it, we had no option but to sell it to someone who had left a few messages asking to buy it. Within a few hours of getting the call we delivered it to the bew owner who was planning on building a wood shop but the city wouldn't allow her to build so she wanted a camper. Shame, if I had time I could have recouped some appliances like the new propane stove, water heater, stuff she'll probably not need anyway.
Thanks for your feedback everyone, sorry it was all in vain.

Sorry Adam. Maybe the lady will give you some of the appliances?
