Hi all, I am in the process of trying to purchase a 1966 Shasta Starflyte 16’ and my question is: Has anyone tried removing the axel and wheels and used a dolly to place a trailer in their garage? I have height inside but only 83” clearance and I would like to get it indoors to keep it dry and work on it. Thanks in advance Marlies

You may have to remove the roof vent as well and may have to slide it in on some thin wood to get the clearance you need. I also had to remove the rubber door trim to get the clearance I needed for the airflye. My links to photos are in my signature. You can get an 8 foot camper through a 7 foot high door. The thing to remember is that you have to get it back out the 7 foot door.
