In general though, back into the renovation 2 years break again (my husband hates my camper and I can't do the work alone) but want to get it done this summer for a late summer voyage and some fall camping!
'59 Shasta Airflyt SC
We are now in the part of the renovation that is the new birch veneer has been installed and windows, now onto electrical, insulation and placing the skin back on for good.
What suggestions do you have for water intake? I don't really plan on camping off grid and will use a direct connect to the water at the campground, do I need a holding tank under? What else? We took the toilet out and I don't want it back in so no black tanks here.
I have the SC layout which means two gauchos, I am not putting the front back in, I want the dinette, any ideas for tables to put in? Just make one from wood or is there a way to find one someone is selling out of theirs?
I got my stove and fridge in running off propane prior to reinstall to make sure they worked. I'm still debating keeping them because the idea of electric seems nice.

Welcome back! I recently redid the table on a 1959 Airflyte. New Formica, trim and 3/4" plywood because it spans a large area. If I knew it would be used by two small children (less weight) I would have made it lighter. It weighs a ton. If it wasn't being used as a bed I'd reuse the pedestal the last owner had there and leave the table up permanently. I never put in a holding tank because my wife feels it isn't healthy and when my father-in-law suggested a little antifreeze in it over the winter to make sure it didn't freeze, it became a non-starter. I've restored several campers and always use a direct connect water system without a holding tank. One of these works fine when needed.
I like a simple, affordable stainless steel front, electric dorm fridge which doubles as an ice box if off the grid.
You have several excellent questions that people may not see because the title of your post will only interest people from PA. You may want to change it.
