I am looking for some wide whitewall tires for my 1957 Pathfinder. They are 15" 6 x 5.5 bolt pattern. Wondering if anyone has tried the tire and wheel combo package from Vintage Trailer Supply? I have never used any Kenda tires which are what comes with the package. Doesn't seem like a bad deal since it seems like just a tire alone sells for around $215 from Diamond Back. Any opinions would be appreciated.

The wide whitewalls I've found have not been "trailer" tires. I've only used them once and loved them but the next owner reversed them. Broke my heart...

We used Coker wide whitewalls on our Shasta Compact. Not trailer tires, but we’ve never had a problem on any road surface at any speed (never exceeding about 60mph).

An option to consider: my ‘62 Traveleze has baby moon hubcaps so I went with black wall trailer tires and painted the wheels with white Rustoleum rattle can. Gave the impression of whitewalls for very little money and no compromise on the tires.

The ones from VTS are trailer tires so that's nice.
