A family member has a camper that he’s offered to sell. I’m interested but would like to know what it is. He says he hasn’t been able to find any manufacturers tag/identification on it. He thinks it’s “late ‘50’s/early ‘60’s”. I think it’s 10 years older than that. Says it’s 16’ long.
I’m very interested but it’s currently 4hrs away and I can’t get away to check it out in person for at least 2 more weeks.
Anyone have any idea what this thing is?

Unfortunately I can’t get my photo to upload. Tried the Flickr tutorial. No luck. If anyone is willing to post it for me, I can email or text it to you.

Rod, it was nice of you to upload the photos. Thanks.

My guess would also be Yellowstone. Maybe 1955-56. I think they started the little windows around then. The siding matches this 1956.
I wish we had inside photos.
How much are they asking? How long has it been since it was moved?
This is a larger 1956 Yellowstone interior.

Thanks Teachndad for posting my photo.
My family member was wanting $500 for the camper. I told him I’d rake it but when he mentioned it to the family, his grandkids piped up and said it was their “fort”. So, for now, it’s not for sale.
I’m still curious about what it is. Going to try to get more pics. If I do, I’ll try to post them here.
Thanks, Jim

Granpas are always softies. That would be a great buy for $500. Offer the Grandpa $400 and offer the kids $100. That should be a done deal.

Tell them you will buy another camper to replace it. You can buy something newer for the same money and just swap it out. The kids probably wouldn't care.
