... And having to hide from wife and children to get any work done. I really need to raise the dinette seats at least 2-3 inches. Anyone else feel your dinette table is too high?

I think another layer of firm foam would set you right up...Yours look a little on the thin side; maybe that was original to the trailer.

Probably some nice modern 4" foam would be all I need. These cushions are a little weird as the backs are thinner, but maybe that's common.

Great idea working in the camper. You can also make yourself lunch and grab a nap in between conference calls.
Maybe you should make yourself a tray/desk and get 10 pillows for the bed?

It is an eyesight issue for me. I find that as I'm getting older I can't clearly see my food on the table. Not just in the camper but at almost any table. I can't get far enough away to see it well. My distance vision is better than ever, but close up is a big blur. I do not need prescription sunglasses anymore. My wife and I must have a dozen dime store reading glasses stashed everywhere we go. She's 10 years younger than I am and used to make fun of my eyesight problem...now she's got it too!

So far I'm sitting on 1x12 boards, a thick blanket and have a lumbar pillow. Later I may have to bust out the tools and make this thing fit right.

Well, I measured my kitchen table and it just about matches the dinette table and benches, 18" bench and 30" table, so I guess I'll be in the market for new foam...after I buy a new teardrop marker light to replace the one broken by a falling board in last night's wind storm.

When we did Hamlet’s cushions, we opted for firm, 6” upholstery foam. We wanted to make sure it wasn’t too soft to sleep on. It sleeps great, but we neglected to account for that extra inch of height for the window. It overlaps the bottom by an inch. If we had done 5” foam, it would have been perfect, and still good to sleep on. Oh well, live and learn.

An escape in the backyard with a fire pit, maybe a little deck, Adirondack Chairs, etc.
Makes "staying in place" sound nice!

I have that... I need to park a trailer there and take a photo. It's where I let people park their trailers when they visit. It's got electrical and water and I'm going to put in a waste dump also. Fire pit and even a 1954 refrigerator that works. Great place to park a trailer. I'll get some photos next time I put one there.
