I have a Shasta Starflyte. The vin number is 52869. Can anyone tell me what year it is?

Welcome to the VTT! As far as I know there is no database to correlate VIN to year manufactured, but if you post a photo, there are many knowledgable members here who can help to identify the year your Starflyte was built.

I think Starflytes appeared in the late 60s and into the 70s. Mine is a 68.

Hi Pierce, The "5" may be an "S", and that would indicate the plant it was manufactured in. What does it say on the plate located just rearward of the door? That will tell you which plant, and the letter that should correspond with it. Oh by the way, here ya go....
