I'm planning to buy a couple of aluminum propane tanks from Vintage Trailer Supply (...which has by far the lowest price for these tanks). However, I wish I could find a nice aluminum rack rather than the typical painted steel racks. Anyone find a product or make one? I'm thinking of fabricating a rectangular one of heavy aluminum boiler plate. Ideas?

There are loads of marine tank brackets available (I wouldn't mind some of those fiberglass tanks I've seen on boats, too). I'd google through some of those marine options for inspiration, seeing as how the camper-specific brackets seem very limited in design.

Yes, been looking at marine grade hardware. They offer brackets that hold the tank onto a wall or post. But cannot find anything appropriate for a camper. I'll wait until I get my aluminum tanks and then fabricate an aluminum diamond plate tray fitted with as much stainless steel hardware that I can find. Has anyone else done this?
