I'm drawn to "stored 43 years" like a moth to a flame.
No interior photos? Lame.

Interior photos to come. He's still cleaning out the inside. I guess it's full of stuff.

It is gorgeous. 12 grand is way too much for something that has sat outside uncovered for a quarter century. And I’m hoping those rusted cabinets aren’t metal. That was a thing in the 40s and 50s, although I’ve not seen them i trailers, only homes. Cool factor. 15,000 cost to restore. - 14,000 Value 1,000

That appears to be a park model not a travel trailer. Back in the day New Moon was a player in the park model trailers but I didn't think they built travel trailers under the New Moon name, but not certain about that.

It sure isn't under cover anymore. The damage shown tells me the roof it was under LEAKED. Too bad. I'm down to 1200. Decimally challanged.

There is at least one major difference between this trailer and the New Moon in the film, and that is that there is no counter and window on the curbside in the kitchen. There's also no "sunken living room," although we know that was only added for the movie. Also missing is the vanity in the bedroom. Additionally, the bedroom in this trailer is set up for a single queen bed, whereas in the film, like in all 50's movies, Lucy and Desi had two twin beds with a lampstand in the middle. I wonder if that was a real option to order the trailer with that bedroom configuration, or again made just for the movie. Also, did New Moon offer a white interior and Checker Board tile like in the film? So many questions! If I had the dough and the time, I'd buy this, restore it to an exact movie replica, or as close as I could get it, and live in it forever! Just because of the movie, I think the pricetag on this trailer isn't that far out of line. If made to look more like the movie, restored, this trailer could fetch a really high price.
