Welcome from a fellow Kansan. I think you have a nice project. Just follow Mobiltec and Vixk's advice and everything will be fine. I am curious about the Kansas antique title process. Let me know how that plays out for you.

Like the trailer, and the potential tow vehicle as well. It caught my eye to see a member that is sort of a neighbor, I'm next door in Mo. Seems like the majority of members are west or east coasters. Where abouts in MO are you? I have in-laws in the KC area, and regularly make it to the Joplin area. It does seem like vintage trailers are a coastal hobby...especially since all of the best camping places are in interior states! Lol!

Eastern out skirt of K.C. North of Independence....a little blink your eyes and you'll miss it kind of berg. Sugar Creek, Mo. F.Y.I. not sure if it's going to be a tow vehicle but my other project is a 32 Ford pick up street rod. Should be fun! By the way, Joplin is a cool little town......as is Carthage. Lot of neat old houses in that town.

Well, I finally got her hauled home! Definitely going to need a drop with this tow vehicle. My blue truck rides lower though. And, she isn't going anywhere else for a while now. Parked next to the shop; she's about four inches too tall to fit through the door. Might be able to get creative, but I don't know that it's worth the trouble really. I've got enough room to work on her on all sides for now. Took some sand paper to the tongue and found some numbers. My son then removed the propane tank bracket and kept sanding to reveal the serial number. Someone on facebook suggested it codes for a 15' 1964 model. Anybody argue with that? (15642946) Anybody know if the serial numbers were aggregate or annual? It's been cold and snowy here since, but it's supposed to warm up toward the weekend and we'll do some cleaning to start out. We found an old registration slip, but it was so faded all you could read was the County Treasurer's stamp that said Paid. Because of the small size they don't think it ever had a title back then. Armed with the serial number we can fill out an affidavit and have a title issued. We'll get that taken care of before we get any deeper than cleaning. Jim

quick note - that stove/sink color (coral) was the Pantone color of the year for 2019, so it's likely that somebody out there wants it badly. Believe it or not! (not me, already have one that color)

If you're in Ks. you how changeable the weather is, so getting it in the shop would be ideal. Buy or borrow a couple of automotive 4 wheeled cradles, remove wheel and tire one side at a time and place on cradle. You should gain about 8" to 10". Piece of cake if your shop approach is paved, if not plywood temporary approach. Just my opinion!

AS for the year it is no newer than a 1967 and I would guess it's a mid 60s model. The reason it is a 67 or older is the clearance lights don't meet federal requirements for a 1968.
