The trailer is made by H.B. McGinnis out of Peterborough Ontario. It looks to be a canned ham camper. Approximately 10 ft in length. Has nail screws holding on metal sheeting all around. Original sink, ice box, light covers and wooden cabinets. Flooring in the rear is sagging. Noticeable from the outside. Camper is sitting on cracked 6ply tires. Suspension is rusted. Found in Colorado. Is $1200 too much? Will post pictures when I see it today and will locate VIN #.

That’s a question only you can answer. Given its size it’s probably at least 50 years old. Given the sagging backside (hey, it happens to all of us eventually), it has lots of rot and will need substantial rebuild anyway. The questions you need to ask yourself are: 1) Are you planning on camping in it or reselling it? (If reselling, you’ll never break even.) 1) Do I want to spend hundreds of hours and another couple thousand bucks to restore a piece of history? 2) Does your significant other think you’ve lost your marbles?
In any case, you will need, at the very least, to support the rear end somehow and replace the tires. A better option would be to rent a flatbed, support the rear, tie it down really, really well, and transport it home.
Good luck and let us know. Post pics tomorrow if you can.

Seen the title this evening. It's a 1949 15' trailer. I pushed on the sides, felt sturdy but the frame is up on blocks and bricks. Took some pictures. Just gotta figure how to post them.

If Vikx doesn't pay the money then the photos go away. That already happened to us once when they surprised us with the new policies. You can upload photos directly from FB from what I understand. I have my own server so all my photos are housed there. Although I had to change servers not too long ago and all the photos I was displaying here went away. I'm slowly replacing them as I find them. If anyone here wants to pay the monthly bill forever I'm sure Vikx wouldn't mind and then you can directly upload them...

In answer to t33's question, the most I have ever paid for a trailer of any size is $500. And the only reason I paid that much for it was because it was VERY rare...
