I just don't get it I guess. My cell is a flip phone with no camera and only used camping when I can't find my wife. I usually do have a bicycle when I camp, and sometimes even carry a surfboard. Oh! We just got reflective dog leashes! That counts right?
By the way txoil, your camper is amazing and vikx is right, WOW!
Cowcharge. who wouldn't want to camp with the Starship Enterprise? Totally geek for sure!

"My name is Susie Q and I'm a geek." And I spawned a geek who at the age of 12 is into computer programming, gaming, astronomy and anything NASA. Oh, come on, I bet you all have GPS's. 10, that's funny! 61, I'm with you on handwritten journals. I tried keeping up with my last trip in a blog, and it totally didn't work for me. I regret that I don't have a daily handwritten journal of our trip to pass on to my son. There were so many unforgettable moments that I have forgotten! I'm also addicted to XM radio. That was my only connection with world events while we were camping in the desert, even when I had no cell or internet. And I plan on renting a satellite phone when we drive to Alaska just in case of emergency. Have you got the app ISS SPOTTER. It shows visible passes of the space station from wherever you are. And I too am a geek....it all startered with a radio shack color computer 2. And the day I typed up a bunch of numbers and item descriptions for lowes and made my mom think I hacked there system, it was on

I wonder what element has one proton and twelve electrons? Shastonium? And the hour and minute hands are the neutrons! It could be an isotope of aluminum, but I think with all the birch, there might be too much carbon for that to be the case, so it must be a new element. I would like to propose that we supplant the artificial transitional metal, Livermoium, #116 on the periodic table with Shastonium. We KNOW Shastonium is real!

Exposure causes fever, trembling, delusional thought, insomnia and high milage on tow vehicles.

And to many casual observers it appears to cause insanity.

I wonder what element has one proton and twelve electrons? Shastonium? Since you can't count the protons in the nucleus, it's probably just carbon. Which means we'll have to tax you to help stop global glamping- I mean warming.

I am thinking of gutting an old vintage radio and then installing an iphone speaker in there so that I can plug in my iphone at the back and it blasts through the speaker screens on the old radio.. I'll let you know how it it turns out.
