I live a little south of Nashville and I have been looking for a Shasta Astroflyte to purchase. We are willing to do the restoration work we just cant seem to find one. Would consider a restored if the price is right. Any leads would be appreciated.

That could be a project, Stacy, haven't seen an Astroflyte anywhere in ages....Of course that does not mean you should abandon the search, but rather gives me something else to search for!!! Love it!

What year(s) are you looking for? Shasta made two different versions depending on the year, early 60' they had a bunk out over the hitch but still sort of look like a canned ham. Mid to late 60's resembled the toaster style!
They seem to show up all at once, Multiple listings seem to happen with in days/weeks of each other. If your looking for a early one, you may want to include Astrodomes, same trailer but with a toilet.

The later Astroflytes (toaster-style) were also very similar to the Starflyte models, which seem to pop up once in a while. I would have to think you are referring to the early ones with the bunk-over...the dreaded "DOME"... If you want, I can give you the name of someone who can help you plan to cut that DOME off........ (Drat...no "chain saw smiley" in the choices....)
