Kelley is not happy with the purchase and now realizes that more research was in order. We are talking about the original subject of this thread. The "Beautiful Shasta" which is not a Shasta at all. That is why I recommended a lawsuit for false advertising to get the money back.
Jeremiah. I have the funny feeling that you don't care for me or my advice much. That's fine. Doesn't bother me in the least. But I say this because you seem argumentative in a subtle sort of way on every thread that I post in. I don't claim to know everything there is to know about every single trailer ever built. But I know a rip off when I see one and yes, buyer should be aware but this fad has exploded in a way none of us old guys never expected and there are a lot of vultures out there who think that if they just add the word Vintage to their sale, then the price should be way higher than reality suggests. I also have the funny feeling that your sig line is directed at me personally. Again I never claim to know everything there is to know about every trailer ever made but I have a good idea of how to do this stuff right due to years of building and research. I only claim to be able to help others avoid the pitfalls that many of us "old guys" have fallen into over the years and I force nothing on anyone else. My knowledge is in public view and available for scrutiny by anyone who cares to do the research that I have. My experience is invaluable to "newbies" and oldies a like and I pride myself in trying to help all the people who come here.
Snide remarks in the form of a sig line is not acceptable. And your thoughts that Kelley should be happy with the purchase and move on from there is just plain wrong. That trailer is a total waste of money and time and anyone who would advise someone to move on with it is out of order in my opinion. We don't give bad advice here and when someone here does hand out bad advice we approach them on it. This is the one forum on the internet where you will always get the right stuff. As I said, when bad advice is given by someone on this forum it will be attacked and struck down.
