I just ordered this little change hut from China for $30.00. I’m basically going to use it as a pattern and remake it out of red and white striped canvas like a classy little beach hut. (See inspiration photo at the bottom). I’m doing this because my trailer does not have a shower and I think it will be super cute and functional to just stake this down and ad some wooden slat square flooring and hang a shower bag from the top, or maybe even go for the instant hot water propane shower. I’ll create a better door and add some straps inside to hold towels...

Great idea! I like the outside shower theme and it keeps the interior of the trailer dry and less steamy.

I had my Father-in-law weld me on up that I can put together when I need it out of square hollow metal and he added a mounting post to the bumper and I use an old Army bucket shower. water will heat up fine in a 5gal water can in the sun. I know this for a fact because I've taken a shower in the field with one when I was training in Ca, a few years back. I have not used it on my camper yet but that is one part that I have completed. I use 2 shower curtains for the walls. I got a folding teak floor a camping stores cheaper than I could make one. I'm like Vikx about keeping the interior dry and Compacts are small. I don't want to take up space in the camper that will only be used when there is no shower house.

Don't really need to build one.... (Disclaimer... I am not a walmart shopper. But this was the only brand name that came to mind when I was trying to remember what mine looks like....)

I saw a comment about Walmart. No matter where you buy one these are ALL made in China. I asked my wife if she would shower in one of these. She said "NO WAY" "We stay at campgrounds that have showers available ".

The Walmart one looks functional too. I’m going for vintage glam so re-doing it in canvas is the fun way to accomplish that. Fifteen years of owning an upholstery company helps too... in terms of it being easy for me.

Ooooh, I am looking forward to seeing it when it is done. I love to see unique projects, especially when done with expertise.

Can't wait to see it. Like the idea of the on demand hot water. I looked at one that was pretty inexpensive and needed to be hung outside anyway.
I also like the idea of a changing area like the one Ten has! It doesn't have to be that big. Could use pvc for the frame also.
