Hey all, just wanted to share some pictures of the playhouse that I built for my boys. Been quite a project but it came out great and i'm pretty proud of it.. It's all wood, and to give you some idea of the scale, the wheels are for a wheelbarrow and the sides are cut from a 4'x8' sheet of plywood (about 7' long now) WP_20171216_005 by Nick Pawloski, on Flickr Coated the underside with rubberized undercoating for moisture resistance WP_20171217_004 by Nick Pawloski, on Flickr WP_20171217_007 by Nick Pawloski, on Flickr Everything was glued and clamped before nailing. Came out really rugged. WP_20171217_009 by Nick Pawloski, on Flickr WP_20171218_001 by Nick Pawloski, on Flickr WP_20171231_004 by Nick Pawloski, on Flickr Crossmembers for the curves. The "propane tank" in the last picture was the whole catalyst for this project, it is a left over mini helium tank from a party balloon kit. Saw it sitting there and thought it would be a perfect touch for a tiny camper...

What did you use for a chassis? Looks like wood. If you drop it on a little 40x48 trailer with 8" tires, you can take it camping for the kiddos.

This is just TOO COOL! I need to move this so everyone can see it. Any suggestions as to category? Glamping?

Ditto on the TOO COOL! I love the floor tiles, what a great idea.
New category maybe? "Home-Made"? Or "Special Projects"? How 'bout, "Too Cool!"

Thanks for all the compliments! I still need to finish putting the windows in and installing the tail lights and an old motorcycle license plate.

I sent my son a pic of your playhouse camper and he wants me to help him make one for his kids. That's how cool your playhouse is.
