Not a Shasta. Not really anything.
A project that should never have been started is now a project that should never be finished.

This is obviously is a shoebox trailer designed to catch a lot of wind and if it doesn't catch enough you could always drag a parachute behind it. Well that is enough time spent poking fun at it. Probably someone built something that fit there talents and budget and had a lot of fun in it. It looks like something that might have been built years ago.

I'm guessing this was built as a mobile office, not a camper/ I don't do facebook so I can't read any ad copy so I may be wrong. At any rate a pair of wings never hurt anything mobile.

The wings will cost more than the rest of the project. Looks like they used a shed as a template...

I mean if he has a title that says Shasta, that’s all he needs.

I mean if he has a title that says Shasta, that’s all he needs. Probably a Shasta chassis. Gawd I just noticed that he used chip board for the floor. That stuff turns to mush when it gets wet. Never use Chip board on a trailer.

Where I come from It would make nice deer or fishing camp. Probably the intent purpose.

Where I come from It would make nice deer or fishing camp. Probably the intent purpose. That may be true, and to the owner’s credit, it is not yet finished, however... one of the most delightful things about human beings is their ability to turn something that is basically utile into something that is also beautiful to look at. A Navajo or Hopi basket can be an exquisite work of art as can a hand carved wooden bowl. In Norway, farmers would cover cupboards, trunks, door lintels, ceilings, etc, with beautiful rosemaling painting, Paul Revere created timeless pieces of pewter and silver and the Amish have long been known for their beautiful yet simple furniture. These things were meant to use every day. Like old trailers. There is a certain beauty in the grain of the birch (ours has heart shapes), to the curve of the cabinetry in the pre-1960 trailers, even the designs in the lamps, or on the front of the ice boxes. The little extra touches don’t improve the function, but we all enjoy looking at beautiful things, and if we have to use them every day, that beauty provides pleasure.
