I'm reinstalling the Princess Oven in my Boles Areo. I don't know how the box to mount it in should be made. The Stove vents or gets air from the bottom of the oven so I think dirt or food could get under the Oven. I'll add pictures of what I mean. Thanks Gary

Most of my Princess stoves have been on cross boards with open air below. However, the 57 Shasta stove is sitting on a Formica covered board. So I guess they are OK without air under. I've discovered many scorched boards under stoves...

My 59 Shasta under stove shelf was front 1/3 Formica, mid 1/3 open and back 1/3 raw ply. There was a 1/4 thick piece of asbestos sort of in the middle of all that. I don't have much rust. Now rodent crap....yep got that. I'm starting my oven restore with a power washer.
