Does anyone have a template or dimensions for the Compact table that mounts to the back wall? I am sure I can get close by eyeballing from all the great photos posted here and other sites, but I thought it would be nice to make it as original-looking as possible. I found the attachment hardware at Vintage Trailer Supply. Thanks!

Here is a link with some great info, most of it correct and noted when it's an assumption. www.freewebs.com/kc8jwa/shastacompact.htm From that link: The trailer came with the original table of yellow formica,... Measurements!..... If you are missing your table, here are some original measurements for you: Table Leg: The leg is 3 3/4" wide at the top (with a piano hinge cut to the same width and hooked to the table). It is tapered down to a measurement at the floor of 1 3/4" inch. The leg itself is 26 1/4" tall. It is 3/4" thick. Table is: 24" wide x 1" thick x 39" long (My table is 36" long.. I wanted the table to be a more manageable size, so we shortened it) Here is a picture of the underside of table as a visual: smg.photobucket.com/user/beverlyt/media/table3480x360.jpg.htmlI believe my table has been shortened, too. It stands up on the ledge under the window perfectly. It looks much better on the underside than the table in the above link. I'll try to post tomorrow.

The underside of that table isn't pretty, but it's very strong and much more lightweight than solid tables are. The full-length table is a bit harder to maneuver around, but seats four friends fairly comfortably.
