Hi Friends, At a recent rally, I came across this unique styled ’57 Aljo seen below. It was stellar inside and had won Best Interior at the Newport Dunes Rally just a week earlier. While that was exemplary, the curiosity for me was the German built water heater that was installed in it. I asked the owner's brother, David, to send me pictures of it so I could post here. David said that when you turn on the faucet, the water is almost instantaneously hot. You can see why when you look at the lit firebox image. Cheers, Rod Here is the trailer. Here is the compartment the water heater sits in. The cover is made of porcelain. The small hole in the center is used for sighting the pilot light as well as lighting it. Here is the fire box.
