Hi Friends, This just turned up with one of my trailer buddies. I will call it the "Frankenstein" Astroflyte. It appears to have been modified, but maybe it's a prototype? The skins go all the way across. Poor thing... Figuring that it's the eve of Halloween, it was an appropriate share. It's got good parts on it, but little else and will probably be taken down. Cheers, Rod

It appears to have some good parts to save another camper down the road. Danny

I love his lines what a shame to see a camper opened up like a tin can. I love the loft.

“She’s a beaut Clark” I like the front windows sloping agled back the opposite way from the Astrodome. That does make it look like a 59-61 Shasta early fore runner to the early sixties Astrodomes,

Back in October, I was pretty busy and missed this one. I sure would love to have the resources to rebuild this one. I have never seen anything like it, it appears genuine mid-50's, would be a few years before the Astrodome/Astroflyte models were put into production, as far as I know. This could be a one-of-a-kind find!

Hi Friends,
I finally was able to see this about a month ago in person and it was a Frankenstein build. In person inspection showed a poorly done seam just aft of the dome section. She was destined to be taken down. When I saw her, the front wall had already been removed. The parts to be sold. I may eventually end up with the tail light cans.
