I started out traveling in our vintage trailer. Now my wife loves this decorating in it. If she is happy I'm happy. So many people want to look inside all vintage trailers. Might as well make them cool.

There are many different styles at our rallies. To me "glamping" is the golden glow birch. I have a few pillows but most are very plainly decorated.
Interior paint is certainly not my favorite and sometimes signifies hidden rot. Be sure to take lots of photos of your build and repairs to prove it was repaired the right way.
Maybe some of our members will post photos.

Rebuild-repair-Decorate. All could be separate topics. A person could do a frame up Rebuild and then Decorate it the way they prefer. In one if our little trailers I repaired the worst of the damage by replacing damaged wood frame pieces and replaced panels. Not perfect but the Entire section pretty close. There are a few panels with some small stains. Trailer looks good. But we use it a lot, so it us going to get scratched more. By Glamping. My wife did curtains and all kinds of matching stuff.(for fun) she enjoys 50's style stuff in there. She talked about painting the inside if it. I'm ok with that or it can stay the way it is. It's all for fun. The paint will not change the value of this trailer. Even though it's nice already. Gets a lot of comments. But our whole idea is enjoy it and use it for fun. I always remember, if it is not fun for her, she will not want to go on trips with it. So I want her to enjoy it.... A non-painted or painted interior. We have more fun with it than our close friends who have a 76,000.00 trailer. Who we are traveling with for 1500 miles starting next week.

Our Shasta ain't 100% original but the paneling and cabint's were cleaned and a couple of coats of shellac added to the warm glow and vintage look.
We need to get the bench seats recovered but my wife made some temporary slip covers and so far so good, Danny
