Very nice job Allan,I should have went with heavier skin rather than .24,been digesting your Aloha roof install along with rin-tin's.Stuck in that yahoo-Flickr deal so unable to currently post pics.Have clamps roped to top ribs of carport for sides, but seems your style would have been best! With an auto mold above rear top of frame, instead of tail wrap under,I don't know what Steve was think'n in pics, but that's another day,,,, mark

Nice Job Allen! Pretty cool.
So, just to clarify. Let me get this straight, no pun intended. I am trying to follow how you did this.
1. You screwed a piece of wood to the top edge of the unseamed edge of the skin, 2. Then you screwed eye hooks to the top of the wood piece and attached twine to the eye hooks on the top of the peice of wood. 3. Created a simple "H" structure to support and leaned it against the side of the trailer b. Ran the twine up and through the two pullies attached to the top of the "H" structure 4. Then, you could lower/raise the new skin just perfectly to get it aligned with the doorway and then placed a row of screws and you are working your way across with doing each row from the top down. 5. Did you use 3 people to do this or did you use two people and the weight of the H kept the skin in place before setting the mounting screws?
Did i get that correct?

Pretty much nailed it. I can take no credit for the concept though. Larry has a video where he came up with the contraption and I just recreated what he did with a few changes. My 5' 2" wife helped me so I used pulleys to make it a little easier. Just the two of us did it and it was easy peasy... The screws you see are the only ones used on this panel and are positioned in the same way as when it left the factory. It will now get interesting as I attempt to place a radius bend at the top of this panel using ratchet straps and a bottle jack. At least that is my current plan. I had hoped to create the bend prior to placing the panel on the trailer but based on the advice of another HH owner it sounds like I can do it with the skin attached. Fingers crossed

Yep it's best to install when it's over 85 degrees. I go for 90... The 62 Traveleze was done in the dead of winter when it was snowing outside and I had the inside hanging right around 90. Going in and out of the building was like an electric shock to the body.

Texas?
The same thing happened to me a few months ago in Texas. Blue sky, instantly turned to tornado, instantly turned to hail, instantly turned to a flood...
I'm glad you didn't get swept away.

That's Texas weather for you. Nice one second and all hell breaks loose the next. I have friends who moved to Texas... They tell me about it all the time. Good luck and glad you got everything in on time.
