I have a 61 Shasta Compact that was gutted by the previous owner and used for a photo booth. I am looking for information on the configuration of cabinets that were originally in it, so I can replicate (hopefully).

Our Hamlet is of the same “generation “ of Compact. The best thing to start with would be pictures of the originals. We had missing cabinetry as well and did them just with pictures plus one template or the “wave” pattern on the kitchen uppers.
A couple things before you start... first, remember that despite your blank slate, you will still need to work from the outside so the trailer’s structural integrity won’t be compromised. The other is that since you have the blank slate, you can make modifications to the original as long as that all-important integrity is maintained. The Compact has a versatile layout that lends itself to several changes that can still look original.
Good luck,

Thanks. There is no cabinetry at all, so I have been looking at pictures of other compacts that have been restored. I did not know what I was doing when I bought it, and someone turned me on to Larry at Canned Ham Trailers so now I realized how much work I have to do, but am determined to do it right.
