You're welcome. Just trying to make the build go smoothly. Love your work so far! Also, I would definitely frame for a vent. Little trailers tend to be stuffy and hot; the vent is amazing. (as in Fantastic Fan) You don't have to install it now. Four tiny 1/16" holes mark the vent in my Little Dipper. Wiring is in place as well. All a person would have to do is make the hole and install... The Little Dipper is designed to fit in a garage, hence the missing vent. I couldn't resist adding the framing: Have fun on your build.

Oops, missed your post above.. yes, those supports look fine. You just want to be sure every panel is securely anchored.
A friend of mine skipped this step. In a very unfortunate wreck, the ceiling panels and upper cabinets ended up on the floor...

Hi Jody, is the foam board being glued in or just cut to test fit? While everything is out is a good time to drill for light wires. I ran my wires after all screws were installed in the skin to prevent getting into them. Also think of 12v fixture routing such as ceiling lights. Easier to get the holes drilled for them now as well. You are doing a great job for a fresh build!

We will be wiring for the lights next. I will have under cabinet lighting as well as a fixture over the dinette. I don't have the skin yet. It will be all new from Hemet valley. I guess once we get all the outer lauan on and secure we will take measurements for the skin.

Taping the foam board with aluminum tape. (No, the wheel well area is not going to be left like that).

. We have been trying to create a slow bend in the radius by hanging bricks and milk jugs. This had appeared to work, however when we tried to attached the lauan, it buckled in the middle and pulled out all of the staples. So, the next experiment we used a router to cut grooves in the lauan every half inch. After a few mishaps, it worked.

This is what mine looked like up close. My neighbor stopped by while I was doing it and some other work and ask me how I knew how to do stuff like that! I said I don't know. I thought about doing this on the Shasta, too.

That's doing it right. I wish I had the shop space to do a frame-off restoration.
