Yes, Vikx, not for my trailer, but for my Class C that I'm renovating. Fortunately, I found the exact replacement tank. Thanks.

Has anyone installed an ASME horizontal tank, like are installed in motorhomes, in their trailer? If so, I could use some help.

Glad to hear that about the cylinder. The reviews of it on Vintage Trailer Supply ($19.95) are iffy. Some reviews are great, but many say that the cylinder breaks almost immediately. I won't be locking and unlocking it often, so I think I'll give the cylinder a try.

Thanks. I used the Search feature but nothing came up. ?? I'll check VTS re: the new cylinder. Not sure how I'll identify it, but I'll give it a try. I'd sure like to be able to lock it up. The PO said he had found another set of keys, but I no longer know how to reach him.

I've got the keys to the Bargman lock on the entry door of my Frolic, and I never thought to check them until now, and they don't work. Any ideas? Could it be rekeyed by a locksmith or is there something you all know that I don't?

I'm the PO of boandsusan's Mr. Sam, and have the portable unit that I want to install in the closet of my Frolic. It's crazy to try to use the long hose with these units because they take up way too much space, and the heat radiating from the hose from the unit to the outdoors is ridiculous. I want to install mine without the hose, more or less flush to the side of the trailer where I will cut a hole to vent it. But the "more or less" part is what I need help with. Here are the issues: 1) Does the vent need to be fitted into a circular hole with a tight fight? If so, what about having to pull the unit out periodically to clean the filter? 2) The unit is on casters. How to keep it stationary, yet also able to come out so that I can reach the filter? 3) It's not supposed to need to drain, but reviews of this unit say it's prone to overflowing onto the floor, so I think it would be wise to put it on a baker's pan or something, and put a drain through the floor to the ground. Can someone help me with designing the installation?

I'm so sympathetic I wanted to cry for you, but I also know that if anyone was up for dealing with this, it's you guys! Your bond with this gal will be even greater, and like the worst travel experiences make the best stories, this is gonna be "The Best of 2013." So glad she's finally home, and she is a beauty.

FYI, vikx. I was worried that I wouldn't be able to find the big fat gasket, or o-ring, for the pressurized tank on my Frolic, but lo and behold, Home Depot had one in the section of packaged toilet parts. I happened to spot it there; it was for an old-fashioned toilet, but fit perfectly.
