I encountered dissimilar wall measurements on mine as well, when I went through the process. But, I left them alone, because I was reusing a lot of the original aluminum..
If I were using new aluminum, I would have made them as close to the same as possible, fwiw

The range had been stolen out of the T-Rex (t for trailer, Rex for Rex, the previous owners dog that traveled everywhere with him) and, it's a big dinosaur. So, I went craigslist hunting and found this awesome, close-to-period-correct gas range. The clock even works. The people I purchased it from said a lady had owned it for most of its existence and used it to can/bottle stuff. It's traveled with her all over the country including California and Florida, where the guy I got it from had to travel to and pick it up. It's not the original brand for Spartan, but whatever. It's way cool.

The Spartan really needs very little. It's ridiculous. It wouldn't need a thing if the generous fellow that gave it to me hadn't put a/c units on it. The rear section is undamaged, the front living area has ceiling and wall damage.
The front floor is solid, but the 9x9 tiles are damaged.
The rear floor is damaged from a toilet leak... In the bathroom only.
It's not missing much. Someone stole the range out of it years ago, I'm already on the hunt for one. The fridge was replaced... It's not my first choice but it will do. Maybe I can make it look "vintage"...
I just picked up some original lights for the living area and kitchen! The entire ceiling is primo, minus one sheet of ply. I'll post up pics of that mess soon

Thanks, been away for a while. I have a problem. I like most all things vintage/retro. In my daily life, I talk to people all day. Sooo, I have a customer that I cut up with quite often, and he and I like the same kinds of things. Problem being, he has all the toys, and his list is impressive. I get a phone call from him about three weeks ago, and he says he has something he wants me to have. . ... ....... ..... Wait for it..... ......... ..... He gave me a 1956 Spartan Imperial Mansion. Seriously. Pics soon

I'm just covered up with life right now, with little ones, like Doug & Marcy. But it's still on my mind, and I will get it together in a year or two for this "biggie"

We will bring it! Gotta fix a flat tire on it between now and then. Still three sites remaining?

Mobiltec, I actually placed the panels on the camper, took a sharpie to the back of them where they met the "walls" to determine where to make the bends. The shrinker makes the radius TOO easy. Like wadding tin foil. Worked out great, just a lot of work. But not really that bad. The hard part is handling the large roof section.

sorry for the delay!! So, moving right along, I hung the original aluminum sides back on for fitment and to my surprise, they fit. One last look here at the framing for the roof/ceiling structure and onto the template for the front side profile needed for the new roof aluminum ...which leads to these photos, of myself and father in law using a sheet metal shrinker to make the new aluminum make the front bend ...works like this, on the front lower aluminum (new) under the front window, it allows the curvature of the aluminum without kinking it
