I would have found someone like this to rescue it. Not really interested in one of these enough to take that one. But fooling with old cars and wooden boats, if you have enough money or drive. Anything can be saved.

That will buff right out. All the hard work is done now. Should go for $7600 on CL. Rare unit you know.

If I could find a decent Holiday House, I'd grab it. But not this one...I'd be more interested in the Willys wagon in the background. I sold my 1959 Willys in 2009 for $5k. Loved that thing, pure simplicity and torque. "Hurricane 6" engine, vacuum wipers, 3 speed transmission, and sounded like it would blow up driving over 50 mph. The manual that came with it had photos of one being used to plow a field, like a tractor.

Well old Super Bob Gallagher has posted several videos since this one 2 years ago and no hint of any restoration being done. Danny

Hi Friends,
When I saw the tongue rail welds pop in the video and then the skin rip loose, I was wondering what was left to restore. The inside of the trailer must have been made of mush. Just my impression. The skin on those is specific to those trailers and I wonder how anyone could duplicate it or even mend the skin on the street side where it ripped open. Maybe he saved the windows and appliances.
I posted a question about any progress in the comments section and saw Larry post as well. No hint of any response.
Cheers,
Rod

It looks like Justin, from Flyte Camp is the one who pulled it out. I think Bob just took the video It is possible it's the Holiday House that Flyte Camp recently finished?

Hi Friends,
It's been about a week and I did not get an email back from Flyte Camp.
Bummer.
When you leave an email, they have a statement on their website that they can't answer all emails because they get so many.
I was hoping maybe I would have gotten just at least a one sentence response. I even explained I was a member of this forum hoping that might be a "shoe in".
Oh well.
Cheers,
Rod

I know, Bob and his wife (they found it in Astoria) gave it to Justin. I am assuming he flipped it. I just asked Bob what happened to it.

They should save the Jeep too and restore that as the tow vehicle. If I had more time and money, mostly money.
