A wood stove will cause CO problems just as efficiently as a propane heater, so cross that downside out.
Outside of (maybe) aesthetics there's zero advantage to a wood stove in a tiny space like a trailer. Propane is perfect for use in a trailer, which is exactly why it's so common. You'd be shocked at how little it will take to heat a small trailer- my grandparents camped through many an Eastern Oregon snowy winter in their '54 Aljoa with nothing more than the factory-installed propane mantle lamp and a few Pendleton blankets, and raved about how cozy it was.

A couple springs ago we were hanging around Moab, camped on the BLM just north of Arches NP. There are always quite a few interesting camp set ups there....one of a kind stuff in the desert and climber crowd. One old one had a small chimney with smoke coming out every morning. Dont know if practicle, but was sure cute.
