I bought 12 sheets of 1/8 red birch today for my Shasta at Toledo Plywood in Ohio, for $21.99 per sheet. They have both imported and domestic made plywoods. It's a mom and pop operation and has been in business since 1949. Great source for plywood in this area. Toledoplywood.com

I was intrigued with "utility plywood"... unfortunately, the one carried at Menards has an SDS that states "Poplar Core Veneer, with Birch Face Veneers with a Ureaformaldehyde Glue/Resin fortified with Melamine or Phenolic Resin"

H372 - Causes damage to organs through prolonged or repeated exposure. H402 - Harmful to aquatic life. Precautionary Statements (GHS-US) : P201 - Obtain special instructions before use. P202 - Do not handle until all safety precautions have been read and understood. P260 - Do not breathe dust. P264 - Wash hands, forearms, and exposed areas thoroughly after handling. P270 - Do not eat, drink or smoke when using this product. P272 - Contaminated work clothing must not be allowed out of the workplace. P273 - Avoid release to the environment. P280 - Wear eye protection, protective clothing, protective gloves. P302+P352 - If on skin: Wash with plenty of water. P308+P313 - If exposed or concerned: Get medical advice/attention. None of this DANGER Stuf was around in the 50's and 60's and I'm still alive. In fact TOYS... When we were kids we found a stick and a rock and made a game to play. And we liked it. We were happy. Although a stuck and a rock these days means I am cleaning up the yard.

I only mention this because I came up with the idea to do luan paneling in my shed house that was sealed pretty well. On a hot summer day the off-gasing was enough to sting your lungs. I understand our homes are already full of this sort of thing too but a trailer is a fairly confined place.
