The new interior with the classic-looking exterior just doesn't do it for me. I think it is because we've spent so many tears, laughs, years, money, and have so much pride in our rebuild. We looked at a Retro once and I just felt like I was cheating on our trailer and the vintage trailers as a whole.
Sigh...Love the large front windows though.

I understand but a few of mine are younger than I am!! I like to sit in them and enjoy the ambiance. It makes me curious what tales they could tell... vilx - I wondered too, and because I knew I'd never know the real stories, I gave Hamlet new old stories. Never did find someone to illustrate, so I just read them to our grandkids, grand nieces and nephews and to other young friends. We sit in Hamlet when I read them, and they are mesmerized. They touch the walls, ask about the gas lamp, want cocoa from the stove and cookies from the oven. It just doesn't get better than that!

Hi Friends, If I like being in a fall out shelter, I would like sleeping here.

Just saw one of these at a recent trailer show. However it had a totally different layout. It was the 22 with the front kitchen. It sure was pretty from the outside, the view from inside that window while making breakfast, lunch and dinner was appealing. It actually did "feel" different from the other new campers. We told our friends if they bought it we might let them come camping with us. They can be pretty, we'll bring the character.
One thing to note - that window is striking, that is until you tap on it and hear the hollow plexiglass sound. Wondering how it would fare on gravel and dusty roads - especially without a cover.
But it WAS REALLY PRETTY!! It would be beautiful redone in birch.
