There place near Cherokee NC has several vintage campers. Because this old fish camp had covered parking these beauties survived in a wet climate. This is my favorite. A small bread loaf around 15'. fullsizeoutput_3c IMG_0430 Some others: IMG_2842IMG_2843 IMG_2846 The last one looks exactly like a Shasta Compact but it appears to be another brand. Maybe a Zipper.

The third one down looks like an Anderson. All we can see is the rear of the trailer but it has that Anderson look and shape to it.

I don't think the front window is wide enough to be either a Compact or Zipper, and the siding appears wrong also. One name jogs in my memory...Wildcat. Don't take that as gospel though, just my guess.

If you start at Telico Planes TN and drive east along the river about 30 miles up the road you come to a place called, Camp Town about 200 vintage camper trailer been setting there 50 years with people living in them.

If you start at Telico Planes TN and drive east along the river about 30 miles up the road you come to a place called, Camp Town about 200 vintage camper trailer been setting there 50 years with people living in them. Well there is also a very good reason there are more Shastas out there than anything else almost... They made 10 Billion of them over the years. The Shastas and the Aristocrats were by far the best selling trailers. They were affordable and cute.
