Hi,
It looks like a lost helmeted biker searching for a place to rest who is hopelessly lost with a flat tire and is both hungry and tired?
Seriously, It might be a Shasta, because me thinks the front side window is soooo close to the front wall like a Shasta and it might be that parallelogram shape. However, the angle at which the picture was taken is poor, because the darn post obstructs the front wall which could sweep back from top to bottom.
We really need a better angle or the ability to blow it up. The picture, not the biker or the trailer.
If you want PM me the image and I can put it up with my flickr pix. Maybe it can be blown up that way.
Cheers,
Rod

Does the fact that it has an Hehr window in the side and not a jalousie, make it at least a 50's? I have no idea, just guessing, curious to see if I've learned anything in the last 3 years.

Hehr windows are mostly 50s... This one isn't very hammy, but you never know. I've never seen a Shasta with that skin pattern before, so am doubtful there.

My first guess would have been a Mallard but the windows are different.

Hi Friends, Don't you wish we could have a team of trailer sleuths so to speak? Our very own division of Ghostbuster like type folks that at a moment's notice could go chase down these trailers to identify them. We could call them Trailer Chasers. You could submit coordinates on the forum and then there would be different groups in different zones of the United States. They would get dispatched to find these trailers and bring back the identity. It would have to be made up of a group of folks with money and time, though. LOL. I had fun with this one. Just another reason to get together for a vintage travel trailer, right? Cheers, Rod

Sorry that's the only picture him and his wife had. I really thought the stripe or what ever that emblem is on the door would be a dead give away with some of you with a lot more experience than I have. I swear I've seen that emblem before during my many hours of research. It looks like it's been sitting there a long time and that usually means that it's not for sale. I'll see if they are taking that route again and get some more info. Like I really need it sitting in my yard. I read somewhere on this forum that collecting old junk campers is an addiction.

I didn't see the stripe! I've seen it before... something to do with flying, wings, arrows??? Can't remember.

Hi Friends, I noticed our new member sdelee's Century in his avatar. I thought the wing pattern was the same, but then realized it goes the other way. Cheers, Rod
