Not all of the emails I receive are dumb questions.... Once in a while I get an email like this and it makes my heart sing with joy because I know I got through to them and that the videos, this forum and my classes are working... You may notice that all the brakes on this metal are reversed.
Email from a viewer installing a new roof from Hemet Valley RV:
Hey Larry! Long time I hope your new digs are working out better for you. I finally got to the point of putting the skin on the 55 and thought I'd share a tip I had to figure out the hard way. When cutting out the notches for the curves of the edge fold over I found the if I didn't start on the notch when hammering the edge over the sheeting was prone to rip at the cut. Make sense? Thought you could pass that on to the newer restoration people.
See the pics for the finished roof. Your method worked like a charm. Had 2 buckles and the split technique worked great!
Thanks again for all the info and help!

God grant me the strength to restore the trailers I can, The courage to strip the parts off the ones I can't, And the wisdom to know the difference...
