Probably a basic question, and sorry for the half-paint half-stripped photo. I know the horizontal seam on the left is a Pittsburgh lock, but what's the one on the right (siding on the back of the trailer)? Can this joint be disassembled, or is it permanent, meaning the back only comes off with the roof?

I agree. My last restoration project had sealed seams front, roof and rear. This kind of seam is not meant to be separated.

My personal advice...if you get that skin off, make sure you flatten that seam back out before installing. Mine opened up a bit during storage and I felt I had to seal them to guarantee waterproofing.
