my furnace was missing a knob. I got a universal knob on, now I just need to know what is pilot and what is on. I got off figured out. Also can anyone tell me does these furnaces just have a on and off essentially? I don't see a thermostat in my trailer or the remnants of one.

Can you take a close up of the workings and knob area? Some of this type of furnaces have a push in pilot button, usually red. Push in and turn operating knob to light. Some had a push in 'all in one' knob for the pilot. You might be able to feel the pilot by turning and pushing the universal knob.
Definitely post some pix; you don't want any surprises.
