Hi All! I wanted to introduce myself and my 1961 Shasta Airflyte. My husband and I just purchased her and brought her home on Saturday! I began seriously searching for a camper in 2013, actually join and stalked this forum since 2014 and finally after camping in a popup for years and convincing my hubs we finally ventured into the world of vintage trailer ownership! I'm going to have a lot a lot of questions!

The person we bought it from replaced all of the wood, floor, and a lot of the framing. As you can tell by the current curtains it was owned by a man and I'm looking forward to doing a very thorough cleaning. There isn't a part that doesn't need a little TLC, but it's campable and it very good shape for the most part.

The previous owner said he couldn't find the vin...but I uncovered it yesterday under about 4 different colors of paint and the original mirror was still on the closet door.

Congratulations! Great interior and definitely needs a woman's touch and some color. Have fun decorating, I'm just starting on my 68 Shasta Compact
