I cleaned for two days: weird little twisted bags of white something, then brown something, pipes, needles, dead bones and pieces of furniture built in here and there...
Thank heavens Barney the neighbor cat lives in Turk at the moment. Not a critter in sight. Ha.

Street side wall with new birch. I'll shellac it next weekend.

I stood the curbside wall and installed the closet. The dinet isn't attached yet. I still need to work on getting the wall plumb.

These photos show some original water stains on the cabinets. I'm going to reskin the kitchen upper and lower but I'm not planning to redo the others. It just seems like too much work and I like added "character". At least that what I've been telling myself.

I installed the front wall this weekend and finalized a few little things. I should have shellacked it first but I was too excited to get it installed. I'm sure the only thing worse than shellacking is shellacking over your head.
My new goal is to have the kitchen upper and lower cabinets rebuilt and installed and the ceiling installed next weekend... I'm planing to take a long weekend from paying work. I really hope to have the old Terry in camping condition for summer.

Summer is here and the trailer isn't even close to being done. I did make some progress. I finished installing the ceiling and walls. Then shellacked everything with three coats of amber. Then put the rafters in and test fit the front, back, and roof skins. Once I was happy with fit of the skins I marked the window and vent locations and framed those. Then routed out the birch. I still haven't rebuilt the kitchen but it does fit through the door opening so it can go in later. I still have a days worth framing to do then I'm going to wire and insulate.

3 coats of amber looks pretty good. I really wanted a few coats of clear also but I'm running out of time maybe next year.
