Hey, not to shabby, especially for the price! Looks similar to the one I was hoping to look at tomorrow , until AAA told me to steer clear of anything without a title You don't need to "steer clear" of anything without a title. You just need to do your homework first and don't put any real money into any trailer until you know for sure that it can be titled. AAA can look a trailer up on line and immediately tell whether or not you will be able to title it and what it's going to take to do so.

I wonder if AAA in NC can do it for a camper out of state? My local AAA wouldn't even help me with a trailer that is in my state. I went in with a 20 year old registration card (last known registration), VIN, title number etc and they insisted the person who it's titled to has to be the one searching. Very frustrating and now it looks like I have to give up on the 67 Hilander and keep searching

They are licensed to do this. They can do anything. Of course it will cost you a few bucks but you know what? $50 to $100 is better than going to the DMV 4 or 5 times...

I had no idea the title was such an issue. I hope she still has it. I'll look on CT DMV site to see what our rules are.

Going to the DMV is worse than a root canal. Not meaning to hijack this thread, but what/who would I search for? I'd really like to purchase this Hilander, but the way it is now, I think it would just be non usable lawn art
