I wonder how the outside could weather so badly without a leak.
"Will look at serious offers."
Serious $1000 or serious $10,000? There is a wide range in the word "serious".

Here is my guess...it's a 50's vintage, so it could well have spent its first ten years outdoors in the weather. In ten years, it may not have started to leak through the puttied seams. At some point, something changed in the owners' lives that led to not being used any more, and put up in storage to preserve it. The FIRST THING a new owner should do is replace all the putty around everything, because it WILL leak by now.
I would like to think you could convince them that $1500 (paperwork INCLUDED) was a serious enough offer. The interior has a couple small dings, but is pretty spectacular for its age. The exterior is only a cosmetic mess from the looks, and is a simple prep, paint, and polish job to fix!
(P.S. More hiding behind it.)

In my opinion… only 2 carefully chosen interior photos does not spell a “perfect” interior. There can be a lot of damage and cover up we can't see. Also, does this really look like a 50's design to any of you?

Just because it was in a barn doesn't mean it was sitting pristinely in a corner protected from activity. Maybe the wear is from straw bales stacked around it, being stacked, slid, and removed yearly? Lots of activity in a barn that's being used for storage and animals.

It is pretty straight and does not look like the cows were using it for a scratching post to relieve their back sides itches. LOLOLOL Cant tell if that is rust on the roof or stain from dust and barn shakings. if it is rust then that is not an aluminum roof. A very solid looking camper for sure, none of the corners in the pictures is blown out.

(See the '64 Mobile Scout thread). The attitude is just like, “please send me money… my property tax bill is due”. Three pictures doesn't reassure this vintage trailer aficionado.

The interior looks to have been repaneled. It's hard to tell, but I"m not seeing "pristine"...
This trailer seems to be early to mid 60s, judging from the tail and clearance lights. It's clearly not a 50s canned ham. Also, the trim is missing from the table and counter top. Cabinet handles are 60s.. gas light globe is weird.
Could it be the 2nd half of a two in one rebuild??? Something is very odd here.

I`m not so observant, except for when I am working on something, then I get real picky. sometimes a simple brake job will turn into an engine overhaul. LOL Kind of one of those thing that, Well, long as were in there might as well .............. LOL
