One of the previous owners welded a safety chain loop right over where the vin is located on my airflyte. And it doesn't have the little plate on the other spot on the tongue either. I do however have the vin number as the previous owner had the title.
I just wanted to get your suggestions on what to do?? I want the vin on the tongue for legal reasons.

I was told once that a plate could be stamped then welded or even riveted to the frame, and that become legal identification.
Check the DMV first as to the legalities. I don't see a problem with reattaching the VIN.
If you have a trailer dealer or a reputable RV dealer within striking distance, it may be you can get all the information there. They should be able to stamp the VIN back into the metal of the tongue.
