Cool product and the price is right, But it only goes down to 1.5 amps, not 1.2 for my break away switch battery.

For your breakaway switch battery, they recommended this even cheaper battery tender/charger. They do state that this is not a permanent installation though... www.walmart.com/ip/Schumacher-.75amp-Maintainer/160143527

Hey Dan,
THANKS! For looking into,this.
(Beer bottles clink)
The break away switch comes with an internal charger that charges when the 7 pin is connected to the TV. So, it can charge even when parked.
I don't want this arrangement especially if I want to tow and go. Parking the TV for a few hours with the trailer attached is not going to work for me for charging because my Rod and Reel is not parked at my house. I want to be able to charge the battery of the break away switch on,my work bench and then insert back into the battery case when charging is complete.
For $10 its the right price.
Cheers
Rod

Why did they say this is a better unit for permanent use? It does have a way to attach it to the floor/wall and the wires have ringed ends instead of clamps. I would have asked sooner but I was visiting a place where they just started selling 56K modems.
