Nice! All you really have to do is pull the J Rail, roof vents, windows and doors and reseal them. Also any other things that go through the metal skin like water filler ect...

Do you want to hear a "neat" story.........within the last 4 days, I have spoken to two gentleman who were high up in the Bell Trailer Manufacturing corporation........one was a plant manager and one was an operations manager. One is 91 years old and the "younger" one is 90 years old and they both still live in Montana. The plant manager has donated all of his Bell trailer brochures, catalogs etc to their local historical society in Kallispell Montana and he is going to drive into town and look up my camper information to let me know what year it was made (we only have a bill of sale---no title). I gave him the serial number "201094" and as we guessed........it is considered a 20 footer (17 ft 8 inch body) and it was the 1094th trailer made in its year of being manufactured. He indicated that they changed out the wall paneling each year and they only made the knotty pine paneling one year so that will help with his identifying the trailer too..........is that nice or what? His friend, the operations manager, is sending us 3 decals for our trailer as well........Wow!!!! Doing a happy dance.....

Great story and a nice Bell! Just think how many vintage Shasta owners would also be doing their Happy Dance if 2 nonagenarian Shasta Execs. had come forward with that kind of swag regarding Shasta's History...the FB Bell club would be crazy not to bankroll a Member to make a bee-line to the Kallispell Historical Society once they get the donated Bell stuff catalogued, so s/he can copy everything to share on line with all the Bell faithful.

Great idea Vintage Bruce.....I would so love to be the one to pour through all that "good stuff" myself but Montana is a bit far to go for this SC gal but great suggestion for my fellow FB Bell members who may live closer.....

She's a 1965...Jack Mulford (former plant manger for Bell Trailers in Kalispell MT and 91 years old !!) just called me to inform me that our Bell Coach is a 1965. He drove into town yesterday and visited the Historical Society in Kalispell and looked at the brochures and paperwork he had previously donated and was able to confirm our trailer's age. When the weather is nicer, he plans on returning and making copies of brochures and spec sheets that he will mail to me and I'll share them with the group. I am in awe of his kindness....now we can start all the paperwork to obtain a title for our Miss Belle.

Hello SCgal! We will be buying your 71 Kayot! I just happened to be googling campers and found your posts on this website and noticed that they were some of the same pics the seller sent me! We are so excited to go pick it up next week! 😀
