Well it has been awhile since I posted about the build. Getting close to finishing. Will post a few catch-up pictures in the next few days. Here are some. A/C installed. Fresh water tank, 30 gallons. Water pump and plumbing. Grey water tank, 20 gallons. Grey tank drains through Black water tank which is 30 gallons Unlimited hot water. I will add more a little later. Also am about done with tow vehicle. I will post a picture of it too. Later, Dan

1952 suburban ? What is that front clip on it from? Buick ? Mercedes headlights ? Just wondering. It's really cool.

jeremiah, thanks, It is all original sheet-metal that has been worked by a very experienced metal man, not me. The grill surround was reworked to mate two 1947 Buick grills, one is upside down. The front of the fenders were modified to allow the use of 1939 Ford headlights. I will add a picture of the process later. Thanks, Dan

I am trying to use what I can from the original parts from the Shasta. Things like cabinet doors and some of the good interior wood. Having to make things work for certain size doors makes the design process a little more of a challenge. Using the windows was a little easier since it was just a matter of framing for them while building walls. They are just used in a few different locations.

More pictures. Sleeping loft, I cut the size down a little although i am NOT a "cutter". Has a fold up area that will allow for a 36" wide sleeping area. Moved the original loft window to driver side "picture" window. Cherry hardwood flooring that I had left from our home remodel.
